Overview[]

Buying Super Monkey's 4M upgrade, the Sun Temple, will sacrifice all Sun Worshippers (3M Supers) and any 5th tier towers within a 6 tile radius, destroying them in exchange for additional attacks and various buffs.

Upgrading a Super Monkey to 5M (the True Sun God) doubles the fire rate and power of the existing sacrificial bonuses, but doesn't sacrifice more towers. Probably due to a bug, the range bonus from any sacrifices is lost when upgrading to 5M.

Each tower type grants the Sun Temple a different attack. Several attack types are grouped together and execute all at once, which has certain side effects.

Each sacrificed tower contributes 1 power to that tower type. The price spent on a sacrificed tower doesn't matter; for example, sacrificing a Golden Barrage (5L Dartling) is the same as sacrificing an Ultra Hyper Beam (5M Dartling), regardless of the large price gap.

Note that 5th tier Super Monkeys, as well as all 5S towers, cannot be sacrificed.

Multiple sacrifices of the same type will increase the overall effectiveness of the sacrifice, so it is highly recommended to have a lot of sacrifices to reach extremely high rounds.

Main Attack[]

Attacks every 2 frames.
Shoots huge plasma balls that pop 25 bloons and deal 10/40 damage.

Dart Monkey[]

Attacks every 12/6 frames.
Shoots large darts that pop 6 bloons. Deals 12/24 damage per sacrifice.

Tack Shooter[]

Attacks every 27/13 frames.
Shoots tacks in 24 directions at a random angle each time, popping 3 bloons each. Deals 4/8 damage per sacrifice.

Sniper Monkey[]

Attacks every 30/15 frames.
Fires huge darts with full map range at a single bloon. Unlike standard sniper shots, this attack receives pierce buffs and will hit bloons in the way of the main target. Deals 60/150 damage per sacrifice.
Also increases range by 10 (~1/3 tile) per sacrifice, though this is lost upon upgrading to True Sun God.

Boomerang Thrower[]

Attacks every 12/6 frames.
Shoots huge boomerangs that pop 60 bloons. Deals 6/12 damage per Ninja sacrifice due to a bug.

Ninja Monkey[]

Attacks every 4/2 frames.
Shoots large seeking shurikens that pop 10 bloons. Deals 6/12 damage per sacrifice.

Bomb Shooter[]

Attacks every 12/6 frames.
Shoots huge bombs that pop 100 bloons. Deals 5/10 damage per sacrifice.

Monkey Submarine[]

Attacks every 12/6 frames.
Shoots airburst darts. If main dart hits bloons before bursting, pops up to 3 bloons and deals 9/18 per sacrifice. Bursts inherit the leftover pierce and always deal 9 damage, regardless of sacrifices.
Also increases range by 10 (~1/3 tile) per sacrifice, though this is lost upon upgrading to True Sun God.

Charge Tower[]

Reloads 0.2 charges every 4/2 frames, up to a maximum of 32 charges.
Shoots large charges that pop 10 bloons. Deals 10/20 damage per sacrifice.

Glue Gunner[]

Attacks every 32/16 frames.
Shoots double Moab Poison glue in a helix pattern, popping 10 bloons. Applies 1 corrosion, plus +20/+40 corrosion per sacrifice. Also deals 1/2 initial damage per sacrifice.

Ice Monkey[]

Attacks every 32/16 frames.
Shoots an Absolute Zero ring that freezes 100 non-immune bloons, including MOAB-class. Deals 1/2 damage per sacrifice. Freezes +10/+20 bloons per additional sacrifice.

Monkey Buccaneer[]

Attacks every 27/13 frames.
Shoots 5 large darts like a shotgun across an even 56° spread, popping 12 bloons each. Deals 8/16 damage per sacrifice.

Monkey Engineer[]

Spawns a huge sentry every 300/75 frames.
Each sentry has 160 range and fires every 10 frames, popping 15 layers of 9 bloons. Sentries do not detect camo or lead by default. Sentries last for 300 frames (10 seconds) per sacrifice.

Monkey Ace[]

Attacks every 27/13 frames.
Shoots darts in 12 directions at a random angle each time, popping 20 bloons each. Deals 6/12 damage per sacrifice.

Bloonchipper[]

Attacks every 4 frames if there are no Tack, Buccaneer, Ace, Alchemist, Apprentice or Mortar sacrifices. Otherwise attacks every 27/13 frames.
Sucks in Bloons, including MOAB-class. Sucking in a MOAB-class bloon will pause the main sun attack for 30 frames.

Monkey Alchemist[]

Attacks every 27/13 frames.
Shoots large potions that spits poison clouds on hit. Poison clouds re-hit bloons every 6 frames, popping up to 600 bloons. Deals 2/4 damage per sacrifice.

Monkey Apprentice[]

Attacks every 27/13 frames.
Shoots tornadoes that pop and push back 150 bloons. Deals 6/12 damage per sacrifice.

Monkey Village[]

Nothing.

Banana Tree[]

Nothing.

Mortar Launcher[]

Attacks every 27/13 frames.
Makes big explosions at your cursor, each popping 150 bloons. Deals 10/20 damage per sacrifice.

Dartling Gun[]

Attacks every 4/2 frames.
Shoots huge darts toward your cursor, each popping 7 bloons. Deals 9/18 damage per sacrifice.

Spike Factory[]

Attacks every 60/30 frames.
Spawns spike nebulas that pop 120 bloons. Deals 3/6 damage per sacrifice.

Heli Pilot[]

Attacks every 12/6 frames.
Shoots two golden spinning darts that each pop 8 bloons. Deals 7/14 damage per sacrifice.

Plasma Monkey[]

Attacks every frame.
A large plasma beam spits from the temple, popping a single bloon. Deals 9/36 damage per sacrifice.

Super Monkey[]

Powers up the vanilla plasma shots, dealing +2/+8 more damage per sacrifice. Note that only 3M Super Monkeys can be sacrificed; tier 5 Super Monkeys are ignored.
