Popping Power, or PP, is how many Bloons an can hit before the projectile despawns. It is also known as "pierce". Any projectile that hits an HTA consumes 10 of its remaining PP to do so, and any projectile that impacts a shield loses all its remaining PP unless it has a negative shield damage bonus.
Layer Power, or LP, is how much damage an attack does to each bloon it hits. Notably, hitting a bloon that splits with an attack of more than 1 LP will damage each split bloon. For example, hitting a white bloon with a tier 0 Sniper Monkey (3 LP) will result in two Green bloons.
Some attacks also do bonus (or reduced) damage to armour (ceramic & brick bloons), shields, and/or shells (MOAB-class bloons).
Finally, all attacks do 0.25 bonus damage to shields.

Attack rates[]
The values below are the number of frames between each attack by the tower, and assume the game being played at the slowest speed being treated as 60 Frames Per Second. Divide 60 by a given value to determine the tower level's number of attacks per second.
Also of note is that there may be symbols based on what attacks the tower has. A tower such as the Ace will have the slash symbol to represent the firing of 8 shots per attack, and a comma will symbolize multiple attacks such as an upgraded Monkey Apprentice's available attacks.
