Bloons TDX is a fan-made take on ninjakiwi's Bloons Tower Defense games, created by ramafparty. Unlike BTD5, towers in BTDX have four different upgrade paths and five tiers - though only the first three tiers for the basic three paths are unlocked initially. Further tiers are unlocked through use of 
Bloon Points, a new currency purely for unlocking tower upgrades.
The game is constantly being developed by RamafParty, and fans get a large input as well - you can join the discord server here.
The current latest version is 1.4.5 Beta, which can be downloaded from discord.
